Moving Creatures: A great resource for movement educators & therapists!

As you can tell from the name of this space, The Great Wild, and from my eco-kinetic approach to dance education, I stand behind any project that encourages creative and multi-dimensional movement. Moving Creatures does just that, offering tools for social-emotional learning, strengthening connection, encouraging togetherness, and offering playful movement activities leading to “seriously” healthy attachments with others. They are offering one month free of their new card based nature games, so I encourage movement educators, therapists or any care-givers to explore their website!

The online library may inspire therapeutic plans and interventions or could be interesting to use in a telehealth setting. They also have a tonne of free online movement workshops that are a great resource for parents.

Moving Nature is a play-based movement resource for the clinic, classroom and home. It features an easy-to-follow video library of 80+ movement activities and games. Launch the activities through a pack of 24 beautifully illustrated creature cards.
